Interrupting and hit-and-run. I don't think any profession does it better.

Fun to play, elites worth carrying( [skill]broad head arrow[/skill] [skill]burning arrow[/skill] [skill]crippling shot[/skill] , to name just a few), skills worth more than most elites in the game ( [skill]distracting shot[/skill] [skill]savage shot[/skill] ), Expertise as a primary attribute(at 12 never worry about energy regen), a Jack-of-all-Trades the way a mesmer should have been...
With just the Ranger skills you can do anything, anywhere, in the game, and do it well.

I used to hate rangers for quite a long time, but now I'm in love with my ranger girl Rangers are very good in all aspects of the game, so I can use her for a lot of things (PvE - Tomb, Urgoz, in all missions and they can farm with Famine; PvP - AB, RA, TA, HA, GvG), so I like this profession very much But my first fav is still the dervish
